Genomics services for all

The DSU DNA Core Center is a hub in genomics research and services for academic institutions, private sector companies, and local communities. We provide DNA sample processing, DNA sample sequencing, and bioinformatics services.

The DSU DNA Core Center offers services in robotic sample preparation, DNA library preparation, Next Generation DNA sequencing, fragment analysis, and quantitative PCR. We also provide imaging services using transmitted light, epifluorescence and scanning confocal microscopy. Investigators are encouraged to contact us to incorporate our services into your research and teaching needs.

The DNA Core Center is available to students, staff, and faculty at DSU, as well as researchers at other public and private institutions. Please see our Services menu for detailed information on sample preparation, submission instructions, equipment use and any fees. The Equipment menu provides a list of our equipment and specifications. Please contact us for equipment and service availability and to make a reservation (approved users only). Training is required for all users prior to operating equipment in the DNA Core Center. Contact us for additional information or to schedule a training session on any piece of equipment.
