ABOUT US

Sequencing the Future

The Delaware State University (DSU) Delaware Nucleotide Analysis (DNA) Core Center exists for the exclusive use of DSU PIs, students, and research staff in their scientific endeavors. The DSU DNA core assists scientists in initiating and conducting genomics studies by offering DNA sequencing, workshop, seminars, and other related services. The core is capably equipped with innovative resources for research, education, and service.

Major functions of the Center include:

  • Identifying funding opportunities and bringing together groups of researchers in order to secure grants;

  • Providing opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to pursue hands-on research;

  • Coordinating the user training, maintenance, and use of core research facilities and instrumentation at DSU; and

  • Integrating research and outreach activities for partner institutions.
